Stand Up for What You Believe In

Stand Up for What You Believe In

By: Louis Hernandez

To be or not to be, yes that was some Shakespeare.

But this is not what this is going to appear.

We all go through some rough times.

But we must rise from the ashes to truly shine.

We go day in and day out depending on others opinions.

But the only true opinion that matters is the lord.

There is going to be only two most important things in your life.

The day you are born and the day you find out why.

So, don’t waste your time being down because time is immutable and we can’t go back.

Live for the now and strive for what is to come in the future.

Louis Hernandez is an intern at Improve Life PLLC. He is a health science major at North Greenville University. Louis has the desire to study medicine and fight against cancer because he, himself, is a cancer survivor. He is in the Army ROTC and plans to become a military doctor. Below, Louis summaries some articles from Improve Medical Culture's facebook page. “How One California Medical Group Is Decreasing Physician Burnout”;I believe the article appealed to people because it seems interesting to know that physicians are getting burnout and how a medical group in California has a mission to reduce it. The article meant to me that we should have more organizations like the Southern California Permanente Medical Group to help reduce the rate of physician burnout. “First graduates of Memorial Health’s Primary Care Accelerated Track Program; This article could appeal to people because there are now medical school programs that are three years long meaning they are saving money in the long than going to a four-year institution. I found this article interesting because I know there is two year accelerated tracks for nursing and now for there to be a three-year accelerated track for medical school it could make it more affordable to individuals now to go to medical school and not have to pull to much loans. “Judge finds Michelle Carter guilty of manslaughter in texting suicide case”This article could attract others because it is becoming more apparent every day that you no longer have to be physically present in order to cause harm to someone. In today’s you can now cause harm to someone through just a screen it could either be a phone, laptop, or even a smart tv with all the advance technology. I found this article interesting and thought the actions of Michelle Carter to be wrong because when someone is seeking help you must try to at least aid them the best you can. And to encourage someone to commit suicide is no joke or to mess with someone who is having trouble with mental health. “I lost my son to suicide. What can I do?’This article could be appealing to others because as they read the article they soon find out that the narrators son was in medical school and seem to be going through with it well even though, the process through medical school can be overwhelming and stressful because the work load is large. This article show me that if I am feeling down to just talk to someone about to resolve the problem before it gets to serious.
